Hello,
I can not figure out how to set up a propper network between a pc with windows XP and one with Windows 7

Both computers are connected to a HUB (i think it's a switch) and the HUB/switch is connected to the modem.

All connections mad with Internet-wires.

Please help me to set up a Network step-by-step.

I know how to deal with XP's, but not with Windows 7

Please Help me!

Thank you very much!

To set up a network between a Windows XP PC and a Windows 7 PC connected via a switch, follow these steps:

    • Click on the Start button, right-click on Computer, and select Properties.
    • In the System window, look for the Computer name, domain, and workgroup settings section.
    • Click on Change settings.
    • Go to the Computer Name tab and click on the Change button.
    • Enter the same workgroup name used on the Windows XP PC. If you don't know the workgroup name of the XP PC, check it on the XP PC by right-clicking on My Computer, selecting Properties, and going to the Computer Name tab...
