Hello, i am new user here and i am posting this thread hoping that my issue can be solved.
Problem is, all old games on my HDD seem to lag like Captain Claw, Pocket Tanks, Yuri Revenge, Red Alert , Need For Speed UnderGround 1 all of them lag so high, after using fraps it seems that all games run with 1~5 FPS which is pretty annoying.
My Current PC Specs:
ASrock H61-M HVS
6 Gigs of ram
Asus GTX 550 ti
Core i3 2100 3.1Ghz 3 MB Cache.
Samsung LED 23" 1920*1080.
On Windows 7 all these games works perfectly, but when it comes to windows 8 it lags, any suggestions? :/

Hello, thanks for replying, yes I do have all latest drivers
For my Motherboard I installed all drivers and installed the latest bios except the VGA driver since I am using an external VGA
for my VGA, I downloaded the latest driver from asus website, except the bios it doesn't flash
ASUS - Graphics Cards- ASUS ENGTX550 Ti DC/DI/1GD5
I downloaded the bios from there, and I am sure I didn't mistake the driver, but when I try to flash bios it sends the following error:
"Your graphic card of current system don't match this VBIOS"
Maybe this could be the problem?

Hello, thanks for replying.
Yes I do have all the latest versions for my motherboard, even bios, except the VGA driver I didn't install it as I am using an external VGA (Asus GTX 550 Ti)
and yes I also have the latest driver for my external VGA card except BIOS driver.
When I try to flash bios, it says the following.
"Your graphic card of current system don't match this VBIOS"
I got the drivers from here.
http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/NVIDIA_Series/ENGTX550_Ti_DCDI1GD5/#download
And here is my log.
Maybe this might be causing the lag?

I notice in the log it states 'Warning: Unknown board ID D104 (It is recommended you obtain a new version of NVFLASH.)

Your using version 5.100. The latest version is now at 5.127 which you can download here:

Download NVFlash 5.127 | techPowerUp

I'm not sure if this is the solution to your issue but I guess it's worth a shot?

When I tried to run this one, it said its incompatible for x64 bit windows version, after pressing okay, it returned to the old message
"Your graphic card of current system don't match this VBIOS"
So I searched for the same version for x64 but couldn't find, searched for lower versions and I found 5.118 so downloaded, but still the same error.
and here is the log
Code:
