Windows 7 Help regarding navigation pane

Can't seem to get the libraries shortcut back in the navigation pane, anyone knows how?

i tried the registry fix too

Have you tried going to tools and folder options and clicking "restore defaults" under the navigation pane options?

Attached is the registry fix to restore libraries in the navigation pane. It completely reconstructs the clsid {031E4825-7B94-4dc3-B131-E946B44C8DD5} which you have mentioned earlier and other necessary registry keys.

Double click on the .reg file and it will merge into your registry.

Backup you registry prior to applying the fix.

thanks, got it working already. can u post a fix for the favorites fix in navigation pane too, since it isn't there.

Attached is the registry fix to add the favorites category to the navigation pane.

The shortcuts to the locations in the favorite category are found at c:\username\links.

Backup your registry prior to applying the fix.
