I don't this goes here, so if it goes somewhere else, please move it. Nor do I know if this is the only OS that this happens with.
Anyway, I recently bought a GE MiniCam Pro 98756[b/], and have installed the drivers via CD-ROM. That's not the problem though, I don't think. I'm currently using Windows 7 RC 1(Build 7100) on the PC I'm using for it.
Now, the problem I have is with multiple programs that can use a Web Camera. I plug it in, start a connection with someone, and for about 2-3 minutes, everything works just fine. But after a certain amount of time, the camera "freezes", in a way. It still shows the preview of what it's showing the other person, but the other person just sees a frozen image. The built-in microphone keeps working though, too.
I have tried Skype and Windows Messenger, and both do the same thing. GMail's built-in video-enabled messenger does this as well. I've tried reinstalling the drivers a few times, but it keeps doing it. I've also tried with multiple USB Ports, and they all do the same thing.
Can anyone help or does anyone know of a solution?
