Hello,
I have a hissing sound coming from the speakers and headphones when they are plugged in. It comes even when I mute the laptop volume. The sound is not very loud and indistinguishable while playing music. But it is annoying when music stops. Laptop model is Acer Aspire 5739G. Hardware ID is HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_10EC&DEV_0888&SUBSYS_1025021E&REV_1002
I have tried several sound drivers, but the latest I have found is version 6.1.7600.16385 with driver date 07/13/2009. These drivers did not solve the problem. Is this problem related to sound card? What can be the solution to the problem other than buying a new sound card?
