Hello all,
shortly put. I have a pc that is completely setup the way I want it to be. OS, updates, anti virus etc.
Can I copy this setup (known, I believe as a an "image") directly to a USB stick that becomes bootable in the process?
From here I can use that USB as the standard "image" for all my students. They have identical machines.
Any advice gratefully received and if you speak to me as you would a old family dog, that would be fine too
Thanks

Best bet is to have two usb's. One with a bootable version of Macrium Reflect (free) and one with in image created under Macrium Reflect. You can then boot from the first one and use it, restore the image from the second one.

Thanks. Is Macrium Reflect user friendly? Even to a meathead like me?

Very, to create the boot usb select "Other tasks" from the menu bar and "create recovery media." Make sure you download Reflect (for home use) direct from the Macrium site to avoid the sites that add their own junkware payloads - get it from here:
