Windows 7 how to disable unwanted Optional Windows updates.

Windows update is misreading a USB 3.0 driver as Accusys Storage.
I installed it by mistake and it disabled the USB 3.0 ports.
How can I instruct Windows Update to no longer suggest this update.

Ah. Maybe not exactly the same problem. (But it may work for you)
But if you have managed to uninstall it already, when it is again offered, right click and hide it. It wont trouble you again.
