ive had a hp mini 110-1125nr netbook for a little under two months and for some reason yesterday for no apparent reason the touchpad stopped working after i put it into hibernate and left it alone for about 5 hours. then when i came back the touchpad would not work at all including the left and right click. any ideas or help?

Errors ?

Hi! Do you get any errors when this occurs ? Some HP's get a blue screen error after hibernation when using a modem. They have a download for that..... I think your model is included... It's for Vista, but I think you should check it out anyway. HP has longtime problems that never seem to get resolved. I've noticed that some people have "Hanging" problems with their new "Mini's".

Have you tried rebooting? Do you have a USB mouse you could plug in?

Do you see any Windows hardware updates that might affect the touchpad?

You may need to go into the control panel and reset your preferences, or even reload a driver. I do not know what would have caused it to stop working.

You didn't throw the computer at someone, did you?
