Hi
I have a problem with display brightness on my laptop. First I would like to say that I'm not a newbie, I've tried pretty much everything to solve this problem and I ran out of ideas..
So, the problem is that when using my laptop (no matter what power plan is active), my display goes dim automaticly and I have to set up brightnes manualy again. I've changed all settings regarding the display brightness, and set up dimmed display brightness to 100%, but the problem is still here. It's pretty irritating when it goes dim, because there's no fixed time interval, it goes dim randomly, sometimes it is enougt to unplug the power cable or change the power plan, but in most cases that doesn't help.
Anyone has a solution for this problem?
Thanks

Have you checked the HP website to download the latest Windows 7 drivers and utilities for your PC?

Here's the link. Just choose your version of Windows 7. Also, you may want to check under the Vista drivers to (if there is any? not sure;))
