Windows 7 HTML editing msie 9

My latop has 3 choices -excel, word and notepad.
This desktop has one choice, notepad.
How can I change it to to word so my printer will work?

MSIE 9 > internet opt's>program tab>HTML editing>scroll.

I only have notepad while my laptop, with the same configuration, has word,notepad, excel.
I wanted word not notepad.
