To address the issue with the mandatory sign-in on startup and the inability to sign out properly from your Windows account, follow these steps:

Disabling Sign-in on Startup:

  1. Remove Password Requirement:
    • Press Win + R to open the Run dialog.
    • Type netplwiz and hit Enter.
    • In the User Accounts window, uncheck the box that says "Users must enter a username and password to use this computer."
    • Click Apply and enter your current password to confirm.

      Handling Account Sign-out:

  2. Switch Accounts:
    • To switch accounts or sign out, click on the Start menu, then the user profile picture at the top left corner.

    • This should sign you out cleanly from your account without looping back to the sign-in screen.

      Additional Considerations:

      • Ensure you have an active administrator account to make these changes.
      • Make sure you're addressing the correct account when making these adjustments.

      Further Actions:

      • If you're unable to apply these changes or encounter additional issues, consider troubleshooting with Microsoft Support.
      • Scheduled in-depth support can aid in finding a customized solution to address your specific situation effectively.
Following these steps should help you disable the sign-in requirement on startup and provide a means to sign out of your Windows account properly.
