According to results released by the Worldwide Web Consortium, Microsoft's latest Internet Explorer 9 Beta ranks the highest when it comes to HTML5 conformance.

Seven features have been tested, as shown above. The full breakdown Link Removed - Invalid URL. Do note that: one, this is the first official HTML5 test; two, the HTML5 spec has not be finalized; three, neither does the conformance test cover the full HTML5 spec.
Internet Explorer 9 Beta ranked second in an early HTML5 performance benchmarking, just right behind Firefox, and well ahead of the rest of the pack. IE9 Beta then went on to score 95/100 on the Acid3 test. And now, IE9 tops the HTML5 conformance chart. While such a fine showing so far does not warrant a 'must switch' to IE9, we are pretty sure the upcoming browser's fan base is growing.
