Hello everyone,

I wanted to let you all know that Microsoft ended mainstream support for Windows 8.1 on January 10, 2023. This means that there will be no more security updates or technical assistance for this operating system.

It is important to note that after this date, using a computer with Windows 8.1 will increase the risk of security vulnerabilities and viruses. If you are currently using Windows 8.1, it is highly recommended that you upgrade to Windows 10 to continue receiving updates and support.

You can upgrade to Windows 10 for free if your computer is currently running Windows 7 or Windows 8.1. To do this, simply go to the Windows 10 Upgrade Assistant website, and follow the instructions provided.

If you have any questions or need help with the upgrade process, feel free to reach out to Microsoft Support or your favorite third party unaffiliated forum site!

Thank you for your attention.
