Windows 7 Keeping my desktop when join network

I was wondering if there is a way to keep a user's desktop and settings when their computer is joined to a Windows small business server 2008? The desktop computers are running either Windows 7 or Windows 10.
Thank you in advance for any help

Flat file data yes, registry possibly but it would be tricky.

For files and data you could simply copy from the local user profile to the domain profile.
