Hi,

My Lightroom 2.3 works very good under Windows 7 (64bit). The only thing that I miss is in the
Export Window I can't choose "export to DVD". On XP I have this option.
Is this a bug or how I can export directly from Lightroom to DVD or CD?
I hope anybody can help me.

Thanx

Solution
It seems like you are facing an issue with Lightroom 2.3 on Windows 7 where you are unable to find the option to export directly to DVD or CD in the Export window, something that was available on Windows XP. For Lightroom 2.3, the option to export directly to DVD or CD might not be natively supported within the Export Window. However, there are a couple of alternative ways you can achieve this:

Method 1: Export Image Files and Burn to Disc Using Third-Party Software

  1. Export Files:
    • Export your images using Lightroom to a folder on your Windows 7 system.
    []Burn to Disc:

      Method 2: Use Windows 7's Built-in DVD/CD Burning Feature

    ]Export Files:
    • Export your images using Lightroom to a folder as before.
  2. Burn to Disc Using Windows 7:
    • Open the folder containing your exported images, select the images you want to burn to the disc, right-click, and choose "Send to" > "DVD/CD-RW Drive" to burn the selected images to a disc. By following one of these methods, you should be able to export your images from Lightroom on Windows 7 and burn them to a DVD or CD. If you prefer the ease of directly exporting to DVD or CD within Lightroom, you may need to consider upgrading to a newer version of Lightroom that potentially offers this feature. I hope this helps! Let me know if you need further assistance.
