Windows Vista Make a desktop icon

How do I make a desktop icon on the bottom of my screen? I had one, but lost it somehow.

Hi,

Do you mean: Right-Click the taskbar -> Toolbars -> Quick Launch?
You can then drag items onto the Quick Launch bar and they will show as icons.
