Big question here....

I'm running a GA-Z68XP-UD3 (rev 1.0) and do not have the Marvell drivers installed. Is it worth it to install these? Or just let Windows 10 install whatever it installs.

System specs:

Windows 10 Pro 21H1 19043.1202
Core i7 3770K
GA-Z68XP-UD3 rev 1.0 (BIOS F-10)

Asus RTX 2070 OC 8GB
Crucial 1TB MX-500 SSD
(x3) 1TB Mushkin RAW SSDs
LG Blue Ray Burner DL
Corsair RM-750w PSU
Rosewill Mid Tower Challenger Black
X-56 HOTAS
TrackIR 5 Pro
Inateck KU5211 USB 3.2 adapter

LG 34in Ultra Wide Screen

Hi,
thanks for the driver ) However, there are things to consider.

Marvell's original driver will likely report SSD drives as HDDs to Windows. Therefore, you wont be able to TRIM them. What is worse, Windows occasionally might defrag SSDs during scheduled drive optimization.

Microsoft's generic driver is ok, except it tends to show internal drives connected to Marvell controller as removables.

So basic workaround is to have MS generic driver with some manual registry edits – to properly show SSDs. More details here – scroll down to 'OPTION 2: AHCI (Non-RAID)'.
