I have windows 8.1 and i had to use a splitter adapter which allow my 3.5 mm headphones with a inline mic to be alble to use on my computer. I can use the mic on steam but not skype. When i go to Recording devices it does show that the mic is making noise but when im on Steam it shows that i can talk just fine. Even when I playback my voice I can hear myself but it doesnt work on skype either. The headset splitter adapter splits into two 2 connections. I have everything on full like volume and microphone boost. What can I do so it picks up my inline mic on my headphones?
