Microsft have released an update for both flavours of Vista citing:

A security issue has been identified that could allow an authenticated remote attacker to compromise your system and gain control over it.

Thanks Ross.
Grabbed it for my Vista Biz VM and called my daughter to let her know.
She's still running Vista on her old Dell laptop.
Much appreciated
