Windows 7 Microsoft Office 2008 Icons now showing up anywhere?

For some reason, some of the Microsoft Office icons are not working correctly on some accounts.
What the heck is going on? I installed under the Admin account so it shoudlbe available to everyone.
When I double click on it - they work fine, its just not the correct icon.

Have you tried highlighting the Icon then select properties and then change the ICON

the 'change icon' button is grayed out.
Note how it only happened to some of the apps not all of them.
