Hi,
can you list your system specification please? Usually when a display driver stops working it's down to the driver itself and updating or changing the driver can help. Are you running with the latest gpu driver at the moment?
Heat is also another major cause for graphics to suddenly stop and if you haven't cleaned out the system in a while then dust might be causing a heating situation?

Looks like you have a decent system there... If you open the add and remove programs section (found under Programs via the control panel) you should be able to see which driver your currently using either AMD or Nvidia followed by the version number. Can you please post the info also and I'll be able to point you in the right direction regarding updates.

version: 14.501.1003.0
This relates to Catalyst Omega 14.12 Whql drivers : http://forums.guru3d.com/showthread.php?t=395312

Try installing AMD's latest Beta driver. Beta drivers are basically the same as a whql driver but don't have the Microsoft licence and so must be called beta.

First though remove the original driver using this application:

Make sure you boot into safe mode then use the above. This makes sure everything is removed and nothing untidy left behind.
Download and install the latest beta:
