Windows 7 more unexpected shutdowns

I have included a zipped up minidump file that I haope someone can check to find the reason for my unexpected shutdowns in Win 7

Before following that to a tee, you must uninstall notorious Norton/Symantec in safe mode, using the tool here:

AV Uninstallers - Windows 7 Forums

Reboot and install MSE to replace.

That may fix it, alone.

Please post more dumps if necessary after doing so, and following all the advice in the link.

While you're at it, update your Intel Matrix Storage driver by letting their site scan:

Thanks for your quick reply to my problem, I had a feeling that Norton might be the cause.
However before I go any further could you explain what "MSE" is. I can't find any reference to it.
Before I got this machine I had always used AVG anti virus with no problems. Would you recomend this rather than Norton.

Thanks for the advice. I did as you suggested and I have now had 24 hours without any unexpected shutdown. Also did a full scan with MSE and got a clear report
