Windows 7 Most of my programs need to be in windows 7 compatibility mode to be able to be run. Help!

Prior to installing the updates using windows update, i can run my programs fine. But now after the updates, certain programs won't run unless I check compatibility mode windows 7 ex. steam, fraps,etc... how do i fix this?

ah just fixed it. Updated my graphic's AMD drivers. Don't seem to know how that connects with the issue, but it works. Thanks for the help anyways though

Is one of those updates an upgrade to Internet Explorer 11 for Windows 7 ?

1. Are you using IE11 or IE10.
If IE11, how long ago ?

2. Go to Windows Updates, click View Updates history, is IE11 installed recently ?
