I have a folder called PICS with a bunch of sub-folders
as shown blow

'set01 cover.lnk' --> a shortcut link to 'C:\PICS\SET01\cover.jpg'
'set02 cover.lnk' --> shortcut link to 'C:\PICS\SET02\cover.jpg'
'set03 cover.lnk' --> shortcut link to 'C:\PICS\SET03\cover.jpg'
'setXX cover.lnk' --> shortcut link to 'C:\PICS\SETXX\cover.jpg'

The "XX" represents the number of sub-folders the PICS folder has.
At the moment I have 130 folders and 130 corresponding shortcut links.

If I copy the PICS folder over to the USB drive and keep the same directory structure,
is there an easy way to update all of the shortcuts so the files can be accessed when the
drive is plugged into another computer?

Run a search of the main folder for all jpg's, select all, right click and "send to" to create shortcuts to all of them on your desktop. Then copy the shortcuts to where you want them.
