Windows 7 Multihomed Laptop Question/Problem

Hello NG,

I have my Laptop (WIN7) with two NICs connected to the same network. One ist the wired LAN inside the dockingstation and the other ist W-LAN. Because both are working with DHCP, each NIC has an adress out of the same network. Which IP-Adress is used for outgoing traffic and which IP will be registered in DNS (W2K3 DNS)
I was reading a lot of networking How-tos and books but still not sure whats correct.
Any ideas?

Perhaps I misread your post but what exactly are you asking for ideas on? Do you want to change your IP Address? Not use DHCP? Are you connecting this to a domain?
