Very recently got this computer shinobee Gaming PC #2914 AMD Athlon II X4 Quad 640 4 x 3.0 GHz | 4096 MB DDR3 PC-1333 MEMSeven RAM | 500 GB SATA HDD | 22x LG Dual Layer DVD +/- R/RW DVD-Drive | ATI Radeon HD 5450 1024MB: Amazon.co.uk: Computers & Accessoriesnd it came with Windows 7 trial enterprise.... In German. (I speak only English unfortunately)

So to solve this problem I trawled the internet, and after a few hours I got the solution from a program called vistalizator, and I have changed the language to English. Some things such as the start up is still in German.

Now, I use this computer for gaming, so I downloaded steam, no problem, and I've downloaded games. Some games will work for a bit before crashing on me, some instantly, and some just can't install.

Often when just using too many things on my computer (itunes, chrome and my docutments at the same time) the computer crashes and shows me the Blue Screen

Last time this happened I copied the issue box when I turned on the computer

I would like to be able to use my computer, I don't want to have to pay for a new operating system. Please help, thank you.

Hi Hopptramp and Welcome to the Forum.

STOP 0x00000050: PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA
Usual causes:
Defective hardware (particularly memory - but not just RAM), Faulty system service, Antivirus, Device driver, NTFS corruption, BIOS.

As you can see, there's a lot of possibles in there. We really need to see the actual minidump file(s).

To Enable Minidumps:

  1. Go to Start, in the Search Box type: sysdm.cpl, press Enter.
  2. Under the Advanced tab, click on the Startup and Recovery Settings... button.
  3. Ensure that Automatically restart is unchecked.
  4. Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
  5. Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
  6. OK your way out.
  7. Reboot if changes have been made.
The *.dmp files are located at C:\Windows\Minidump. Until a *.dmp file is generated, the Minidump folder may not exist.
GoTo your C:\Windows\Minidump folder. Copy the *.dmp files to a new folder on your desktop. Zip up the *.dmp files from that folder and attach to a post.

Please see these threads:
Download and install CPU-Z.
Take screenshots/snips of the Memory tab and all the slot#'s under the SPD tab. Attach the images directly to a post for all to see. Do not zip them.
Download and install RamMon.
Run RamMon, select the Export/Copy button. Select the Export/Copy format as HTML then Write to File. Include the saved report in your zipped file.

We'll be pleased to help.

s'a new keyboard, still getting used to it. I'll take your entertainment from my stupidity, as your payment.

It's mostly in English from using a LIP or MUI (can't remember which I sued) just a few technical things are still German

Your latest dump file lists dxgmms1.sys as the probable cause. This is a Windows System file related to graphics and for it to be the cause of your crash is highly unlikely.
You're also getting a lot of different stop errors which may indicate hardware.
Old and incompatible drivers can and do cause issues with Windows 7, often giving false error codes.

As a Priority:

AVG is known to be a cause of BSOD's on Windows 7 systems. Suggest that you uninstall it. Download the correct AVG Remover for your system (32 or 64 bit).
If you have AVG ID protection installed, download the AVGID Protection Remover from the above link as well (it wouldn't hurt to download and run it anyway). Download Link Removed due to 404 Error as AVG's replacement. Re-boot to Safe Mode. In Safe Mode run the AVG Removal tools. Re-boot to normal mode and install MSE. Make sure your Windows firewall is enabled!

Outdated Drivers. Update:

Check with O.E.M. Support and Motherboard Mfr. for system related updates first.
BIOS64.sys Sun Jun 08 01:12:00 2003 Probably a BIOSTAR I/O driver file
BS_I2cIo.sys Mon Jun 16 07:45:18 2008 BIOSTAR I2C I/O driver. Found in BIOSTAR BIOS Flash Utility

GEARAspiWDM.sys Mon May 18 13:17:04 2009 Gear Software CD-ROM Class Filter Driver v4.015.1 (Feb 2010). Also comes with iTunes

nvmf6264.sys Wed Jul 01 19:55:18 2009 nVidia nForce network driver

Drivers with Updates:

Because your last dump file blames a graphics related driver, you may want to re-set them by re-installing.
Download the latest Catalyst SetUp.
Download and install Driver Sweeper.
Boot to Safe Mode
Run Driver Sweeper to uninstall your current Catalyst SetUp..
Reboot to Normal Mode.
Install your new Catalyst SetUp.

Let us know how it goes. If you get further problems with blue screens, attach your new dump files and details and we'll move on from there.

It could well be hardware related, and seeing as it's a new PC, now is really the best time to find out.
Also if you can get those screenshots it will be a great help to us.
HTH.

Okay working my way through here, done the antivirus.

Link Removed due to 404 Error is the driver update I should be downloading on this page? My Mainboard is N68S3B?

Sorry to be awkward

Theres a lot of drivers on that page and most of them seem old. Really puzzles me how the xp drivers on that page are newer than the windows 7 ones.

okay I can'#t find the right catalyst set up.. can't find any actually.. stupidly I've run the driver sweeper, and now my widows is all enlarged. I don't know how to undo this, or how to dfind the right catalyst setup, please explain how to undo this, or help me find the right/if any set up, please :(

okay I've been through some of those.. I left the outdated drivers apart from the Gear one, as I don't know whihc to download, and It's a good idea not to download random things. I'll attach more dump files if I get them.

Also what is it that you want me to printscreen?

wooptydoo it happened again. While attempting to play Team Fortress 2 on Steam. Is it possible to just install another operating system without losing everything saved on the computer (purely because of time and effort, not because it's not irreplaceable

If you mean a repair install of Windows 7 over your current Windows 7 set up then yes, you can.

I'm waiting for another's opinion on those Biostar drivers. They're very old for a Win7 system.

Can you go into your BIOS and see what bios version number you have? Latest is 1.9.3.3.

Found one (I think)!
BS_I2cIo.sys This file is used with Biostar's T-Utility (TSeries) Overclock Utility and Hardware Monitor. If you are not planning on overclocking your Biostar based PC, you can remove this driver by Running Windows 'Add or Remove' program from the control panel and remove the following two programs: T-Unility Hardware Monitor and T-Utility Over Clock.

The latest drivers I can find at Nvidia for your board are NVIDIA DRIVERS 15.56 WHQL" Dated 2011.05.02 If you have a ATI vid card I recomend you dont install the onboard GPU drivers in the package. Do you have the Onboard video disabled? As it looks like you have a ATI card installed. Could you get cpu-z and post each tab please and also gpu-z and each tab on that aswell. Thank you

In my previous post I included download links for cpu-z and gpu-z. If you download them and then use the snipping tool to take screen caps of the programs on each tab. Your also not being a bother. :)

Just looking through the cpu-z pics, I've noticed the Command Rate for your memory is set to 1T. Could your go into you bios and set it to 2T.
