Windows 7 Need help on game lag..

above is my spec info, I have just recently installed windows 7 to my notebook and seem to be having brief periods fairly often of "jumps" where I get severe mini lag spikes for about 2 seconds,

please help

This lag only occurs when iam playing a game, so far ive been playing WoW and Mount&Blade. Same problems in both games,
