Windows 7 netbook wont turn on

i just used xcopy to get a usb disk setup to install on my aspire one when i booted from the usb drive everything seemed to be working ok so i tried to close the install down until i got to work. On shutting it just hung so after 5 mins or so i pulled the battery. Now it wont switch on - when i press the power button it lights but thats it. No bios screen - nothing. Any help folks?

Try booting from ac power. You may have killed the battery.

If not then somethink else is wrong. I remember once my auntie had a netbook and it suddenly wouldn't switch on. It did not do nothink.

looked at the aspire one forum and i think pulling the battery has borked the bios - will try and flash it when i get to a pc

Just to update - the problem was the BIOS, re-flashed it and it is all working again.
