The image preview thumbnails issue you're experiencing isn't related to Adobe Flash updates. Thumbnail previews for image files in Windows can sometimes get corrupted or display incorrectly. To address this problem, you can try the following steps:

Rebuild Thumbnail Cache

  1. Press Win + R, type cleanmgr, and hit Enter.
  2. Select your C: drive and click OK.
  3. Check the box next to Thumbnails and click OK.

    Check Folder Options

  4. Open any folder.
  5. Go to the View tab, click on Options, then Change folder and search options.
  6. In the Folder Options window, go to the View tab.
  7. Make sure "Always show icons, never thumbnails" isn't checked.

    Disable and Re-enable Thumbnail Previews
