Windows 7 No SSH connection with Putty

Heh,

I've recently updated my computer from Windows XP to Windows 7. Now I want to connected to a server with SSH using putty.
Unfortunately, it doesn't work: "unable to connecto to... Host does not exist". I tried to connect with the Windows-telnet application
and got a reply from the server. I've already tried to deactivate the firewall, but I didn't have success.

Do you have any idea how I can use putty to connect to a server with SSH under Windows 7?

Kind regards,

bogomier

Have you disabled the Win "domain" FW? Or allowed putty program to establish connections? Are you using DNS resolution to connect, or just the IP?
