Windows 7 Norton Internet Security 2010 Uninstalls

Norton Internet Security 2010 Uninstalls automatically on the first restart after being installed. It comes up with the unistall screen asking me what my uninstall preference is. When i close it when i try to open Norton it takes 5 min then it opens up OneSupport (or something). I have run out of ideas so i got Norton 360 but i dont really like it

Norton is crap Check their web site for an cleanup/unistall tool. Just uninstalling leaves troublesome crap behind

This goes for many other anti virus and security products. A lot of the good ones have a removal tool on their site but it's not always easy to find.

Get a new anti-virus program such as AVG or Avira.

I remembered this time.

I use the OS, but no Microsoft apps,. except maybe Notepad,. anf Registry Editor, of course

I prefer free or open source software.

IMHO, MSE is a thumbs down for me
