Also you can check if the shift key is being detected.
Press windows key + r
Type 'osk' (the on screen keyboard)
When you press the shift key it should light up on osk

Try unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in.
Try and update your keyboard drivers, if possible try a different keyboard.
If it doesn't work after plugging it back in, Try "Restart" and reboot the computer.

I have the same issue. Tried all the youtube tips.. Also a reboot/restart or even a new WIndows configuration does not solve the problem

I am so sorry, my problem is not the numeric keys, but both shift keys.

sticky keys is disabled.. and with OSK the shift key does not light on. when i use an external keyboard everything is good.
