Hello all, I am encountering quite a serious problem with my computer
When I am in the middle of doing something on it the computer will randomly freeze and loud, high pitched static will play through the headphones. This has been going on for a while but has gotten really bad recently as it happened three time yesterday and four times already today.
I am not sure what is causing the problem, I have looked at event viewer but I havent seen any errors, only warnings of event ID 10016 if that means anything.
My computer specs are the following if this is helpful:
OS Name Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Version 10.0.18362 Build 18362
System Type x64-based PC
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz, 3401 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
BIOS Version/Date American Megatrends Inc. F3, 23/10/2015
Model Samsung SSD 850 EVO 250GB
Model ST1000DM003-1ER162

Solution
Have you gotten a bsod when this sound happened?
If yes thats the glitchy noise if you listened to music.
That could be your headphones.
Headphone drivers.
Drivers firmware.
Tips:
1. Reinstall headphone drivers.
2. If the sound looks like 90s sounds. Then you coudl picked a wrong audio device like me how i fixed mine:
I've got razer 6.1 surround sound and if you use a device selected with your normal device. But on other things you use the razer sound device that may be the problem. If this doesn't work reply to me.
