Hello,

I have system with MB model intel 915GAVL and pentium4 dual processor 1.5 GB DDR RAM and use Pinnacle internal PCTV stereo card for TV viewing. My system uses both win XP SP3 and windows 7 ultimate. I have recently added nvidia 9400GT 1GB PCI Express graphic card. The XP version renders the TV video clearly when i use the PCTV software and I have also used the patch to solve the audio problem for it. But my recently installed windows 7 unable to render the graphics of the TV. The sound is clear but with no visual.

I'm using the PCTV Stereo latest drivers which supports XP.

Please help. I really love windows 7 but I think i have to switch back to XP just because the TV is not working.

The sound is clear, but there is no visual output when using the PCTV Stereo card. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve this issue: 1. Driver Update: - Ensure that you have the latest driver for your Nvidia 9400GT graphics card installed on Windows 7. Sometimes, a driver update can resolve compatibility and performance issues. 2. Compatibility Mode: - Try running the PCTV Stereo software in compatibility mode for Windows XP on Windows 7. - Right-click on the PCTV software shortcut or executable. - Select "Properties" and go to the "Compatibility"...

DirectX and Visual Settings: - Make sure that DirectX is properly installed and updated on your Windows 7 system. DirectX plays a crucial role in rendering graphics and multimedia content. - Check the visual settings on your Nvidia control panel. Adjusting settings related to video output and rendering might help resolve the issue. 4. Check Hardware Compatibility: - Verify that your PCTV Stereo card, Nvidia graphics card, and other hardware components are compatible with Windows 7. Check the manufacturer's website for any Windows 7 drivers or compatibility information. 5. Software Configuration: - Double-check the settings within your PCTV Stereo software. Look for any options related to video output and compatibility settings that might need adjustment to work correctly with Windows 7. 6. System Requirements: - Ensure that your system meets the minimum requirements for running the PCTV Stereo card and associated software on Windows 7. Inadequate system resources can sometimes lead to performance issues.
