I'm having some kind of problem with temporary files. I'm attempting to install a program I downloaded; when you click "setup", it extracts an .msi file first and then starts the install. However, the install can never complete because it always says the .msi file in Users/me/AppData, etc. can't be found. And the options are "Retry" and "Cancel". What's going on?

I know there's nothing wrong with the program or the installer because it installed fine on my other PC.

Like patcooke plus: It can be a typical Windows 7 paranoia. The easiest way to get over it may be to change the installation folder to C:\ instead of the typical Program Folder. Take ownership Link Removed solves many problems, too. But I prefer to change the installation folder, it's kind of a cleaner solution.
