Windows 7 Ram usage when installing games

RAM idles at around 25-30% with a Firefox and a few small apps on.

I install a PC game and RAM goes up to 80% usage. The problem is, the RAM usage stays that high (around 80%) even after the installation is finished.

This has happened every time I install a game. Installing normal programs don't do that though.

Try this for me: Do whatever you do to get the memory usage up to 80%

Press CTRL + Shift + Esc and bring up Task Manager and click on the performance tab .. let it run for a minute .. it should be showing 80% memory usage... then run this from your start menu and see if it drops back to 25%
