Can anyone tell me how to solve this, my right click works ok until I open rapidsahre once I have opened this the right click contect menu and other various icons on the desk top do not work or respond. Once I have closed rapidshare down the porblem remains, can anyone suggest a fix other than unistalling Rapidshare as I need this and cannot remember my settings and how to put it back on.

thanks in advance for ideas

Disable Context Menu Extensions: - Use a tool like ShellExView to disable third-party context menu extensions that might be causing conflicts with Rapidshare. - You can selectively disable extensions to identify the problematic one. 4. Windows System File Checker (SFC): - Open Command Prompt as an administrator. - Run the command: sfc /scannow. - This will scan and repair any corrupted system files that may be causing the issue. 5. Create a New User Account: - Create a new user account on your computer to see if the issue persists. If it doesn't occur in the new account, then the problem may be related to your user profile. 6. System Restore: - If this issue started recently after using Rapidshare, you can perform a system restore to a point before the problem occurred. 7. Update Drivers: - Ensure your system has the latest drivers installed, especially for your graphics card and chipset. 8. Check for Windows Updates: - Make sure your system is up to date with the latest Windows updates. Try these steps one by one to see if any of them resolve the issue with your right-click context menu and desktop icons. If the problem persists, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
