Windows 7 Realtek HD Audio : 2.1 Only 1 speaker plays

I have MSI 880GMA-E45 as the motherboard & have Realtek 6.0.1.6215 (R2.53) as my driver version which is the latest.
While playing/testing no sound comes from my Left speaker & I just hear the bass. Earlier in XP they worked fine.

What driver did you install for the sound card/chip? what OS 32 bit or 64?

It's an on board chipset. I first installed the version that shipped with MSI CD [Version Jan 20010] & after noticing the problem downloaded the R2.53 from Realtek site. But still the results were same.
I have a ATI HDMI Audio driver also however I cannot test it yet.

OS: Win7 64bit.

Silly questions; do you have the connections in the right spots and are the connections completely seated (pushed in all the way)?

Yes, connected in Line out (Green). I have Link Removed due to 404 Error speakers which worked/work fine in XP.
