Solution
Rtkvac.sys is the driver left-over. You may need to use Link Removed.
1. Disable your Antivirus/Security software
2. Uninstall your Realtek sound driver
3. Reboot
4. Disable your Antivirus/Security software
5. Control Panel > System > Device Manasger
6. Locate your Realtek HD audio device, right-click it and completely remove it
7. Reboot
8. Download and install the right driver for your audio device, I understand it is Link Removed.
9. Reboot your pc now
1. Disable your Antivirus/Security software

4. Disable your Antivirus/Security software

7. Reboot

This... didn't work
are you saying it didn't produce a report ?
The upgrade advisor won't fix your system it will simply show what's compatible with windows seven and hopefully show what isn't ?

As icky says this is to see if you have any incompatibility as there is something not quite right here...

The problem is that support for you audio card is discontinued. And it looks like Microsoft doesn't have a standard driver for this card either.
What you may want to try is to install HD Audio Vista x64 driver on 7 in Vista compatibility mode.
Everest report shows that you have a notebook pc, so try searching your notebook manufacturer's site.
Your i915p onboard audio is Intel 82801FB ICH6 - High Definition Audio Controller

2. Select the "Compatibility tab"
3. From the drop-down menu, choose the operating system to run your file compatible with

5. Run it
