Windows 7 Resetting user password WITHOUT boot / BIOS access

Got a bit of a dilema here: my work laptop has a locked BIOS and HDD only boot and I have (foolishly) forgotten the password to the one and only user on the account. Anyone got any solutions that do not warrant the use of boot disks?

The USB, SD and disk drive readers work but I have no way to utilize these bar through the "reset password" option which I have no recovery disk. I also have access to another desktop and laptop so these could be used. Just need to get onto my work machine!

Thanks,

Mike

Take HDD out, hook it up to a SATA controller on the desktop then use a tool such as NT Offline Password editor, just make sure you target the right HDD if you did not unhook the original HDD in the desktop first.
