Windows 7 Sound Problems - Microphone not working

Okey i recently installed Windows 7.
The problem is that the Sound doesn't find any Recording Devices Installed.
I've Updated all my possible Drivers for the Sound.
My headset is "Steelseries 4H", which shouldn't need any drivers, please help me.
I've already tried a couple of Realtek HD Drivers.
Sound card: "82801FB (ICH6) High Definition Audio Controller"

I solved a problem like this by installing skype and restarting the computer a few times, it evenutally figured out where the mic was, not scientific but no problems since.
