Hello people..

I just bought fresh Toshiba laptop with ATI Radeon Mobility HD 5430 graphic card. I installed Windows 7 on my laptop, but unfortunately it doesn't recognize my graphic card.
I tried installing all available drivers, but none of them work. It says standard vga graphic adapter, no matter what I do. What should I do, I've been trying stuff for 3 hours now, all the joy is replaced with sorrow and anger :D

Thanks..

I only went thru this once and it is a bit of a pain. You need to disable automatic driver updating Link Removed - Invalid URL Also it might help to download and install Driver Sweeper Guru3D - Driver Sweeper and run it is safe mode. Also look in the Stickies above there is a post relating to updating drivers for graphic cards.

Welcome to Windows7Forums.com :)

Have you tried downloading the Mobile driver from AMD.com?

Often times people will mistakenly download the desktop version, simply because the site doesn't tell you otherwise.
Here's the 10.11 for Mobile 5000 series:
ATI Catalyst (64-bit)
ATI Catalyst (32-bit)

Hope this helps.
