hi i am facing a strange issue. Whenever I have multiple windows opened like windows explorer, IE, notepad, mozilla etc. I get a problem in switching between windows. Whenever i am browsing something on mozilla and then suddenly wants to switch to windows explorer or lets say do something on notepad, i am unable to do that using Alt + Tab or just by clicking the active icons in the windows toolbar. So to open other window i have to explicitly minimize the mozilla browser by clicking on minimize button and then browse or check the other windows. Funny thing is its random and not only with mozilla. Initially it was with outlook. So not sure if its windows 7 problem or is it some kind of graphic card issue.

    []Update Graphics Drivers:
    • Outdated or faulty graphics drivers can lead to display issues like the one you're experiencing. Update your graphics card drivers to the latest version from the manufacturer's website.

    ]Disable Visual Effects:
    • Windows visual effects can sometimes cause issues. Try disabling unnecessary visual effects to see if it improves window switching performance.
      • Open Control Panel.
      • Go to System and Security > System.
      • Click on "Advanced system settings" in the left pane.
      • Under the Performance section, click on "Settings."
      • Choose "Adjust for best performance" or manually disable specific effects.
    []Check for Malware:
    • Malware infections can also cause strange behavior on your system. Run a full system scan using your antivirus software to check for any malicious programs.
    [
]Use System File Checker (SFC) Tool:
    • The System File Checker tool can scan for and repair corrupted system files. Open a Command Prompt as an administrator and run the command sfc /scannow.
    []Update Windows:
    • Make sure your Windows 7 system is up to date with the latest updates and patches. Updates often contain bug fixes that can resolve such issues.
    [
    ]Check Task Manager:
    • Monitor Task Manager to see if any specific processes are consuming high CPU or memory resources when the issue occurs. This could help identify the culprit.
    []Test in Safe Mode:
    • Boot your computer into Safe Mode and check if the issue persists. If it doesn't, it could indicate that a third-party application or service is causing the problem.
    [
    ]Reset User Interface Settings:
    • Sometimes, issues with window switching can be resolved by resetting the user interface settings. This can be done by creating a new user profile and checking if the issue occurs there.

      Additional Notes:

      • If the issue is with a specific application like Mozilla Firefox, try reinstalling the application to see if it resolves the problem.
      • Logging in with a different user account on the same computer can help determine if the issue is user-specific or system-wide.
Try these steps sequentially and see if any of them help in resolving the problem. If the issue persists, feel free to provide more details for further assistance.
