Windows 8 The Connection was reset

I am not being able to use internet in my laptop. In my network connection ,ethernet has internet access.
Local area connection has no internet access and says unidentified network. Does it have to do something with the problem.
Firefox says connection reset and i cannot use skype and other stuff which requires internet. So its not the problem of firefox. The strange this is, i have installed conectify hotspot. I can use internet through that hotspot in my mobile but cannot access internet in the same laptop.

And i keep changing the ip address in ethernet>properties>internet protocol version 4 (tcp/ipv4) because i use my laptop on my home(automatically obtain the ip) and collage(which has its own ip). But now internet wont work on both places. Any help would be really appreciated.thanks

Have you considered uninstalling that to see if it might resolve the issue?

I think DNS malfunction cause the problem, you check dns settings and visit the artical "Link Removed"
