1. Use java in chrome browser (external clients is ok I think)
2. Use silverlight to watch Sky Go Player

I can't watch Sky Player and I can't play my favourite java games.

Can anyone help?

That’s because a server is NOT a workstation and Java, games etc (things that are supposed to be on a workstation) are blocked for security.

Yes you could turn the block off... look in "Local Security Policy" but then your server would become a sitting duck to any hacker with half a clue.

I don’t understand why you would you want to play games on a server anyway… are you perhaps using a workstation connected to said server?

Server is for running a server… as the name implies. Datacenter allows you to run multiple copies of itself on virtual machines so that you can have backups and redundant systems without licensing issues but gaming on a server (any server) just isn’t a good idea.
If you must play games then I suggest using the hyper-v to install a virtual xp or 7 and then install | play the games on that.
