Troubleshooting Steps:

    • Ensure that your headphone device is set as the default playback device.
    []Update Audio Driver:
    • Visit the Asus support website or the VIA website to download the latest audio drivers specifically designed for your motherboard model.
    • Install the latest driver directly without using compatibility mode, as it might resolve any compatibility issues.
    [
    ]Windows Audio Service:
    • Ensure the Windows Audio service is running. Press Windows + R, type services.msc, and press Enter. Locate Windows Audio and Windows Audio Endpoint Builder services. Make sure they are running and set to Automatic.
    []BIOS Settings:
    • Enter the BIOS settings of your motherboard and check if the audio is enabled in the settings.
    [
    ]Device Manager Check:
    • Open Device Manager (Win + X, then M), expand the "Sound, video and game controllers" section.
    • Look for any warning symbols (yellow triangle with an exclamation mark) next to your audio device. If you see any, try updating the driver from there.
    []Reinstall Driver:
    • Try uninstalling the current driver completely, restart your PC, and then reinstall the driver again.
    [
    ]Testing with Speakers:
    • If possible, connect external speakers to check if the issue is with the headphones or the audio output itself.
