Anybody recognize the roblem, is it the same problem over and over, I hope,,,, I ran the windows memory tester and it says the meory is OK.

Thank you for the kind regards. I have to be honest and am not thrilled with what the crash dumps show. I have some things you should follow to try to get this machine under control...

1) Uninstall Norton/Symantec in safe mode using the tool found here:

AV Uninstallers - Windows 7 Forums

Reboot and install MSE to replace that.

2) Your modem drivers are too old and need to be updated for sure:

Please navigate to C:\Windows\Minidump to copy the files in there to any other folder. Then zip them and attach the zip to a post.

If this is an add-on card, visit the manufacturer's site to update the driver. If it is on the motherboard, visit the motherboard site for the driver.

This Research In Motion driver is too old.

Either visit the manufacturer of your phone for the latest software to install or uninstall the software you already have installed.

One or the other.

5) The card reader drivers must be updated from motherboard website.

6) For now until this is all fixed, remove all USB drives or sticks from the machine.

Complete these things well and if further crash dumps occur, please post them. Also include which motherboard you have. Use CPU-Z to find out if you don't know.

One further thing too: Is that an add-on network card or is it on the motherboard?

Thanks again, I will try each one, the modem is a dialer, I can take that out and take out the LAN i put in, thinking the on board LAN was the problem

I took the old modem and LAN card out complety, deleted NORTON while in Safe Mode,, added MSE....

RIM is for my 8310 Blackberry andteh software is updated but the 8310 is not connected, no USB sticks are conneted, only USB for printer, Mass Storage HD and Sirius satellite radio to the back of the motherboard,, nohing lese is connected except components items running on the motherboard.

AMD Phenom II X6
Galaxy 210 series NVIDIA GeFore 210 1GB DDR2 Graphics card
Crucial 2x4GB, DDR3-1333 PC3-10600 UDIMM Memory

1) Uninstall MSI LiveUpdate to get rid of this very old driver that needs to be removed:

Cool...a correction to my previous post:

4) That's not a card reader driver. It's for the modem and needs to be updated all the same. If you removed the modem, then instead, navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers and delete this:

Reboot and run Ccleaner to clean the registry. Reboot again.

Here is the most recent BSOD, it seems like the motherboard's audio ports WITH four drivers by NVIDIA and one BY RealTek...

Unfortunately, all drivers are now in perfect order. This means that either your motherboard is set incorrectly for your RAM or there is an actual RAM defect.

Suggest to set all the RAM settings in the bios to automatic if any settings currently now are manually adjusted. Save, then test the memory overnight with Memtest86+.

If any errors show, replace the RAM to stop the bsods.

It CAN be memory.

1. Memtest:

you can run this one under windows - MemTest: RAM reliability tester for Windows
memtest86 is more advanced but you have done it already - Memtest86+ - Advanced Memory Diagnostic Tool

To detect errors, sometimes it takes to test sticks separately and in different slots.


2. HDD:

chkdsk /r

HDDScan


3. Video card:

Furmark FurMark: VGA Stress Test, Graphics Card and GPU Stability Test, OpenGL Benchmark and GPU Temperature | oZone3D.Net

I pulled 4 GB stick from the slot and set eveyting to FailSafe settings in the BIOS, and it has run for 1 hour, longer than any time so far without the BSOD.

Thanks cybercore, I will test this stuffright now.

It ran with no stoppage for 2 hours on one stick

My anual says that Dimm 1 & 2 are dual channel for matched Memory,

I moved both memory sticks to Dimm 3 & 4 at 10:55 est to try it out
