Windows 8 Troubleshooting Windows Activation Issues After Update on Pre-Installed Windows 8.1 Laptop

About 3 years ago i purchased a laptop with windows 8.1 pre installed on it. After a recent windows update it asks me now to activate windows. Windows was activated in the shop i purchased it. What do i do next
 
Solution
Try to activate go to settings, updates and security and activation and try that. If it fails it should give you the option to activate by phone, go that route and a Microsoft rep will help you get re activated
