Yesterday this weird little box (see attachment) showed up on my desktop. I've been outfitting this new computer with lots of new software, so it's hard to say which program it's from, and I can't find any identifying text on it. When you click and drag it opens to show about 4 or 5 nature photos like you find as samples in your "my photos" folder when you get a new computer. I'd like to get rid of it but don't know how.

It seems like you have encountered a widget or a gadget on your desktop. These elements can sometimes be added unintentionally or automatically as part of a software installation. To remove it, follow these steps: 1. Right-click on your desktop: - Look for an option related to gadgets, widgets, or similar terms. If you see an option like "Gadgets" in the context menu, select it. 2. Identify the Widget: - If the gadget/widget is visible in the list, find the one that matches the description of the box with nature photos. 3. If you don't find a direct option to remove it this way, you can try the following steps: 1. Access the Control Panel: - Go to your computer's Control Panel. - Look for a section related to gadgets, widgets, or installed programs. 2. Uninstall the Widget: - Within the Control Panel, locate the widget or gadget associated with the nature photos. - Right-click on it and choose to uninstall or remove it from your system. If these steps don't work, let me know so we can explore other methods to remove the unwanted box from your desktop.
