I've tried to find a solution to this, to the keyboard not working when I start up my Surface Pro.
Mostly read on Reddit and there seem to be quite a lot of people with same issue and Microsoft only solution given being to send in for repair or replacement, but it is not a hardware issue. Some have sent in for repair and replacement and have same issue anyway.
I only know of one solution atm, being to always wait for the shut down process to completely finish before closing the lid.
Well, there is the solution of disconnecting the keyboard and reapplying it, which will activate it too.
Does anyone know if there is a driver update or other solution available, or if there is one in progress? although this has been going on for years now, according to the forums.
